About Us

We see ourselves as partners to families and caregivers, working together to nurture the hearts and minds of the next generation.

Our purpose is rooted in two foundational scriptures:

  • “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

    – Matthew 19:14, NKJV

  • “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

    – Proverbs 22:6, NKJV

These verses remind us that early childhood is beyond formative. Jesus Himself welcomed them with open arms, affirming their value and their place in His kingdom.

Hence, we are here to serve children. With the support of parents and caregivers, we are here to compliment the continuous efforts taken daily to shepherd their hearts, get them close to God’s love, and guide them in truth, compassion, and grace.

Through everyday moments — a word, a prayer, a problem solved with patience — we are planting seeds of faith, character, and wisdom that will take root for years to come.

To provide a nurturing, faith-based early learning environment that empowers children and families to grow in knowledge, character, and the love of God.

One mission.

To raise up a generation of children who are confident in their identity, rooted in Christ, and equipped to impact the world with love, faith, and purpose.

One vision.

Our core values. Our STEPS.

Everything we do is guided by the following values:

  • We maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for everyone. We work to create a secure, clean, and supervised space where everyone can feel safe to function.

  • We build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and each other. Trust, honesty, and collaboration are at the heart of our centre culture.

  • We encourage curiosity, play-based discovery, and hands-on learning that supports each child’s development — emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually.

  • We value open communication and shared goals with families, partners, and collaborators. Together, we support every child’s growth through consistency, care, and understanding.

  • We approach our role as caregivers and early educators with professionalism, humility, and dedication — serving each child with love and respectful care.

We use our proprietary The Good Shepherd Curriculum that integrates:

  • Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Framework

  • Faith-based stories, songs, and spiritual truths

  • Developmentally appropriate practices

  • Inclusive care rooted in the dignity of every child

Children thrive when their caregivers model Christ, speak life, and create safe spaces.

Our certified educators are more than staff. They are first and foremost Christ's disciples and also shepherds for the younger generations.

Our approach.

We bring decades of faith-grounded experience, and we believe in core principles like safety, love, and genuine care for every child.

Our staff is fully trained and certified according to Alberta’s quality standards. Every educator is carefully selected not only for their credentials but also for their character and calling. Our management is highly qualified in business operations and has collectively over 50 years of experience and are there to facilitate smooth, efficient day-to-day operations using the latest tools and technology to provide a safe, structured, and loving environment where children and educators can thrive.

We believe that training is not just a regulatory requirement—it’s a reflection of our commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and integrity.

One team.
